Terms and Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

1. Scope and seller

These terms and conditions apply to orders you place through our website gruessen-shop.ch.

The seller is Sarones GmbH, Grüssenweg 4, 4133 Pratteln, Switzerland (company ID UID: CHE-226.514.684), which runs the “Grüssen-Shop” kiosk by the Grüssen-Center (“we” below). The purchase contract for orders placed through the website is concluded directly with us.

The version published on the website at the time of your order applies.

2. Offer

Through the website we offer part of our kiosk range for pickup in store. Age-restricted items are handed over only under the conditions in section 9.

The products shown on the website are not a binding offer; they invite you to place an order.

Product photos, descriptions and details on allergens and ingredients are given to the best of our knowledge. Minor differences in appearance or packaging are not a defect, as long as the essential characteristics of the product are correct.

3. Conclusion of contract

Before you complete your order, you see the selected items, the total amount including VAT and the chosen pickup time.

By clicking the order or payment button you submit a binding offer. The contract is concluded when we accept the order. We confirm acceptance by email.

We may decline an order in whole or in part, for example if an item is out of stock, details are missing or misuse is suspected. To the extent we decline, no contract is concluded and any amount already paid is refunded.

4. Prices, minimum order and fees

All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) and include statutory VAT.

Orders placed through the website have a minimum order value of CHF 10.00 (value of goods).

We charge no service or handling fee for pickup.

Vouchers as well as promotional and discount codes can only be redeemed under the stated conditions and within their validity.

5. Payment

You pay for website orders online by credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payment is processed by our payment service provider SumUp. You enter your card details directly in SumUp’s payment form; we do not receive them. TWINT is not available online.

The amount is charged when you complete the order. Refunds are made to the original means of payment.

We cannot accept online payment for tobacco products, vapes, nicotine pouches, smoking accessories or CBD products. You order these items separately and pay for them at pickup with TWINT or cash. All other items are paid online in advance; paying at pickup is not available for them. The two kinds of items cannot be combined in one order.

When you shop directly in store, we accept card, TWINT and cash.

6. Pickup

When ordering you choose a pickup time from the time slots shown. They lie within our opening hours; the earliest and the latest possible pickup time are shown when you order.

Pickup is at Grüssen-Shop by the Grüssen-Center, Grüssenweg 4, 4133 Pratteln. Show your pickup pass or order number at the till.

We let you know by email as soon as your order is ready. The chosen pickup time is a guide; when it is busy there may be a short wait.

Risk passes to you when the goods are handed to you or to a person you have authorised.

7. Orders not collected

Please collect your order at the chosen pickup time.

Your order stays ready for you until closing time on the chosen day. Until then you can move the pickup time online via the order page or the link in the confirmation email (at most 3 times per order). An order not collected by closing time counts as not collected.

For orders not collected that were already paid online, we credit the full amount to you as store credit. The credit is valid for 12 months and can be used online and in store; you receive the code by email. On request we instead refund the amount to your card, minus the card fee; to do so, write to info@gruessen-shop.ch.

Pay-at-pickup orders that are not collected lapse. No amount is charged.

If orders are repeatedly not collected (2 times within 60 days), we may disable payment at pickup for the person concerned. Items that can only be ordered with payment at pickup are then available directly in the shop only.

8. Delivery through partner platforms

We do not offer delivery through gruessen-shop.ch. Delivery is available through the Just Eat platform and, where available, Uber Eats.

Orders placed through these platforms are subject to their terms, prices, fees and delivery areas. The platform arranges the contract and handles ordering and payment; these terms do not apply to such orders. See delivery area for an overview.

9. Age-restricted products

We hand over alcoholic drinks, tobacco products, vapes and CBD products only to people aged 18 or over. 18+: we always check official ID at pickup.

Without valid official ID we do not hand over these items; you receive the rest of your order. For age-restricted items paid online that we therefore do not hand over, section 7 applies accordingly.

Passing age-restricted products on to minors is prohibited. If we suspect this, we may refuse to hand them over.

10. Returns and complaints

There is no statutory right of withdrawal for online orders. For reasons of hygiene and law, we do not take back food, drinks or age-restricted products.

Please check your order for completeness and obvious defects at pickup. Report defects discovered later as quickly as possible, at the latest within 24 hours, to info@gruessen-shop.ch.

If a complaint is justified, we replace the affected item or refund the price in full or in part. Further claims are excluded as far as the law permits.

11. Liability

We are liable for handling your order correctly. Beyond that, we are liable only for intent and gross negligence, to the extent permitted by law; liability for indirect and consequential damages is excluded.

We do not guarantee that every item is available at all times, and we are not liable for delays outside our control.

Mandatory statutory liability, in particular for personal injury and under the Product Liability Act, remains reserved.

12. Data protection and website content

How we process your personal data is described in our privacy policy. The Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP) applies.

Texts, images, design and other content of this website belong to us or our licensors and are legally protected. Any use beyond the ordinary use of the shop requires our prior written consent.

13. Final provisions

We may amend these terms. The version published at the time of your order applies to that order.

Should any provision of these terms be invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid.

Swiss law applies exclusively, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). For consumers, the mandatory statutory places of jurisdiction apply; otherwise the place of jurisdiction is Pratteln (Canton of Basel-Landschaft).
